Gemma Collins has announced a surprising change to her name.
The former The Only Way is Essex star has joined Aldi for a nationwide campaign.
Aldi is inviting anyone named Colin to change their name to Cuthbert temporarily to celebrate its iconic birthday cake.
Gemma Collins has rebranded herself as Gemma Cuthberts on social media.
Gemma Cuthberts, formerly Collins, said: "I've had some iconic moments over the years, but becoming Gemma Cuthberts might just top them all.
"When Aldi asked me to change my name, there was only ever going to be one answer.
"Team Cuthbert baby!"
Aldi is inviting cake fans and anyone named Colin to adopt the Cuthbert name for 48 hours.
Aldi has also urged celebrities including Coleen Rooney and Colin Jackson to join in.
Fewer than five boys have been named Cuthbert in recent years, so Aldi hopes its campaign will put the name in the spotlight.
Instructions are available on Aldi’s official social media channels.
