Frinton group invites locals to take part in October Craftying

PEOPLE are being invited to take part in events dedicated to crafting and knitting.

Frinton Crafts is holding its October Craftying Month.

The initiative kicks off with free entry to a Destash Sale at the McGrigor Hall on Saturday, October 3, between 10am and 12noon.

The sale will feature 20 tables with various craft resources at reduced prices.

Visitors are encouraged to explore new crafts and meet local crafters.

On October 6, the monthly meet-up will be held at Bird and Bean, in Connaught Avenue, from 6pm to 7.30pm.

The event costs £5, which includes a drink.

Participants are urged to bring their own crafts, share ideas and make new friends.

October 14 marks the return of the Craftying Cinema at Frinton Links Golf Club, starting at 1pm.

The film Grease will be screened at 1.30pm.

People can bring their crafts or choose from the Craftying table for a fee of £5, with refreshments available from the bar.

The Essex Knitters and Stitchers group will hold its monthly meeting on October 30 at Frinton Library from 2pm to 3.30pm.

The group creates items for charities and offers an array of wool and patterns for participants.
