A seafront building has been severely damaged and a van completely destroyed during a late-night blaze.
Firefighters were called to the incident in Orwell Road, Clacton, just before midnight on Monday (June 15).
On arrival, crews from Clacton, Colchester, Frinton and Weeley found a bar ablaze and a nearby van was also alight.
Firefighters quickly controlled the situation, ensuring the area was safe.

An investigation is set to determine the fire's cause.
Details regarding injuries, or the extent of damage to the building and vehicle, have not yet been released but pictures posted by the fire service show them both to be very badly damaged.
Further updates are anticipated following the conclusion of the investigation.
