A PUPIL'S artwork will be seen by thousands after winning this year’s Tendring Hundred Show Front Cover competition.
Phoebe, a Year 7 pupil from Lift Tendring in Thorpe-le-Soken, took the top spot with her design ‘Love Heart Hands,’ earning her £25 and £125 for her school’s art department.
She also received free tickets to the show.
Lilly, a Year 8 student from the same school, placed third overall with her artwork titled ‘Children.’
Kara Morton, subject lead in art and design at Lift Tendring, said: "I am so incredibly proud of our art students at Lift Tendring.
"Phoebe has beautiful mature art skills and to be recognised for her artistic talents on such a large scale at this young age is high praise indeed.
"My congratulations go to Phoebe and Lilly for their hard work and original creative ideas."
Lift Tendring students were invited to design a cover around the theme ‘our communities - our show’, celebrating communities in the countryside, education, family, livestock and sports.
Tom Burt, principal at Lift Tendring, said: "We are incredibly proud of Phoebe and Lilly.

The Tendring Show takes place at Lawford House Park, Manningtree on Saturday, July 11.
It is expected to attract around 18,000 visitors and will feature livestock displays, a food pavilion, trade stands and a new apprenticeship zone.
