A Clacton woman is dancing dressed as a poo every day this month to raise money for a cancer charity.
Zoe Fielder, 53, and 54 on Saturday, is raising awareness about bowel cancer in memory of the 'devastating' losses of her friends Jan and Terry.
Jan, a good friend of Zoe's, died from bowel cancer before Christmas last year and Terry, Zoe's neighbour, died of the disease at the beginning of last year.
Zoe has been dancing for 20 minutes every day, dressed in a poop costume, in February to raise money for bowel cancer charity Bowelbabe.
With some unique dance moves, Zoe will be continuing her wacky campaign until the end of the month.
She said: "To raise awareness I have been going to different places to boogie as a poo.
"I’ve been on the beach, on a zip wire at the park, at the gym, Clacton Garden Centre and many more.
"I want to stop the taboo because a lot of over 50s are not doing poo tests and sending off samples because they are embarrassed about it.
"It is such a shame because they are life-saving and I want to make it less of an embarrassing thing - by being silly and looking daft.
"If dressing up as a poo and dancing daily helps break the taboo, starts conversations, or encourages people to take symptoms seriously, then it’s absolutely worth a month of embarrassment.

Bowelbabe is a charity raising funds for Cancer Research UK, founded to continue the legacy of Dame Deborah James who died from the disease.
