THERE are only a few days left to enjoy Clacton's festive pantomime before it closes.
The Magical Adventures of Peter Pan is taking its final bow at the Princes Theatre on Monday, December 29.
The production has been wowing audiences throughout the season with its mix of comedy, 3D effects and flying sequences, dancing and songs from a live band.
Gary Scott, councillor responsible for arts, culture and heritage at Tendring Council, said: "Gather your loved ones, bring your best panto voices, and let’s make this Christmas the most memorable one yet at the Princes Theatre.
"This magical show is perfect for families and brings the true sparkle of Christmas to life.
"Tickets make a wonderful last-minute Christmas present – and there’s still time for adults to join their friends for the cheeky adults-only performances for a fun, risqué night out.
"There’s nothing quite like live theatre to fill the season with laughter, joy and festive magic."
The pantomime, by Shone Productions, follows the adventures of Peter Pan, Tink, and their friends in Neverland as they take on the villainous Captain Hook.
A description of the show reads: "Peter and his friends encounter the villainous Captain Hook, who seeks revenge on Peter for the loss of his hand to a hungry crocodile
"With Tink's guidance and the help of magical fairy dust, Peter Pan must outsmart Captain Hook and his bumbling crew, overcoming challenges, and discovering the true meaning of love, loyalty, and never-ending magic.
Audiences reviews have described the show as "fantastic," "brilliant," and a "smorgasbord of fun and laughter".
This year’s cast features Jack Daniels in his pantomime debut as Peter Pan, Georgina Newton as Tink, and Daniel Hanton as Mrs Smee.
Ben Coles appears as Smee, Nancy Edgeler-Ash as the Island Chief, and Nigel Peever as the villainous Captain Hook.

There is still time to catch a British Sign Language-interpreted performance, a relaxed performance, and two adults-only evening shows on December 27 and 28.
Those adults-only performances will take place at 8pm.
