A venue for live music on the border of Essex and Suffolk has been named among the best places for live music in Essex.
Little Rabbit Barns in Ardleigh is one of the most unique settings not just across the county by the UK.
They have imported a concept from the United States by the name of house concerts - described to imitate gigs in somebody's home.
Run by a group of music enthusiasts, it was named by The Telegraph as one of the best in Essex courtesy of travel expert Kerry Walker.
According to their website, Little Rabbit Barns has been running since February 2011, but played their first house concert back in 2008 with Emily Barker and The Red Clay Halo.
Emily subsequently won a Bafta for her BBC Wallander theme music and The Shadow Line, becoming a much in demand international artiste, the website states.
The venue has a terrific line-up of singer-songwriters playing jazz, blues, country, folk and Americana.
Their concerts are said to take place monthly on a weekend.
