A Clacton theatre company is staging a special Christmas performance celebrating 25 years of amateur theatre on the Essex seaside.
The Mad About Theatre Company is returning to the stage with The Flight of The Sugar Plums.
The Christmas special tells the story of young space cadets being trained to take over an academy while fighting evil in an action-packed adventure.
Writer and director Indi Allen said: "It has been a most wonderful 25 years, working with so many people across our community who take part in productions, support in backstage departments so we can raise funds to continue our community work.
“The theatre has its intrinsic rewards, which enables us to continue our community work, which is priceless. Thank you to everyone who has made this a possibility over 25 years."
Supported by E and S Lighting and Sound, the out-of-this-world adventure will see a young cast showcasing their musical theatre and acting skills.
Tickets for the shows on Sunday, December 7 at 2pm and 6.30pm at the Holland on Sea public hall in Frinton Road can be purchased by calling 07709 315510.
