AN American and Australian folk duo are heading to Brightlingsea on their UK tour.

Those Folk, featuring American Lawrence Menard and Australian Clare Quinn, will bring their Americana and folk tunes to Brightlingsea Community Centre on Friday, December 5.

They will be supported on stage by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Susannah Clegg.

Having met in Scotland in 2012, Those Folk are known for their 1960s folk revival and contemporary Americana sound.

They have travelled extensively, and lived in California before settling in Pomona, Queensland.

Their performances feature vocal harmonies and instrumental work on guitars, accordion, mandolin, and banjo.

In 2024 Those Folk released their album Life Inside a Box, and performed headline concerts across the east coast of Australia.

Tickets are available from trybooking.com.
