THE full cast has been revealed for this year’s Christmas pantomime in Clacton.
The Magical Adventures of Peter Pan will run at the Princes Theatre from Saturday, December 6 to Monday, December 29.
Presented by Shone Productions, the show is set to be a high-energy production filled with pirates, fairies, and flying effects.
Leading the cast is Jack Daniels, who is in his final year at Laine Theatre Arts and is making his pantomime debut in the role of Peter Pan.
Georgina Newton, a firm audience favourite and graduate of Italia Conti and seasoned performer, will return to Clacton as Tink.
Daniel Hanton will also return as Mrs Smee, bringing his larger-than-life stage presence and dazzling costumes to the character.
Ben Coles, who has a background in comedy and circus performance, will also appear as Smee in his fifth Shone Productions pantomime.
New to the cast is Nancy Edgeler-Ash as the Island Chief, who has a string of theatre credits to her name and will bring a blend of choreography and charisma to the stage.
Completing the line-up is pantomime legend Nigel Peever as the villainous Captain Hook.
James Shone, of Shone Productions, said: "I’m so excited to be back for our second year producing the pantomime at the Princes Theatre.
"The Magical Adventures of Peter Pan is one of my absolute favourite titles to bring to life, and we’ve got plenty up our sleeves to make this year’s show bigger and better than ever.
"Expect the return of 3D magic, amazing circus performers, and spectacular flying effects - it’s going to be a real adventure."
This year's production also includes three accessible performances.
There will be a British Sign Language interpreted show on Sunday, December 14 at 3.30pm.
A relaxed performance will take place on Thursday, December 18 at 6pm, and is designed for those who benefit from a more informal theatre experience.
