AN Irish music show is heading to Clacton's West Cliff Theatre.

The Irish House Party features All Ireland champion musicians and world champion dancers, and was originally established in Dublin to provide visitors with an authentic Irish experience.

The performance is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, with doors opening at 7.30pm.

The show combines live music, traditional Irish dancing, and audience interaction.

A spokesperson said: "At last, an Irish music show that has come out of Ireland without the clichés that usually follow!

"There are no twee costumes or backing tracks here.

"Instead you get incredibly talented musicians and dancers who simply want to bring you the sound and fun of Ireland in an intimate and homely setting.

"Audiences up and down the country will be transported back to the heart of an impromptu Irish house party: a traditional song-and-dance celebration dating back to the early 19th century, where loved ones were given a final farewell before emigrating to America, Canada, Australia and the UK."

The Irish House Party normally performs from an 18th century townhouse in Dublin.

Their 2025 UK tour, which extends into spring 2026, coincides with the release of their new single, The Rattlin Bog, now available on major streaming platforms.

Comedian and TV presenter Dara O'Briain praised the group, saying: "Really enjoyed your performance tonight, wonderful musicianship. An Maith!"

Tickets cost £24 and can be purchased from the West Cliff Theatre box office at 01255 433344 or via email at tickets@westcliffclacton.co.uk.
