ONLY a limited number of places are left on The Robin Cancer Trust's Pants to Cancer Walk from Clacton to Walton.
The family-friendly event, which is in its fifth year, will take place on Sunday, September 21.
Participants are invited to wear their pants over their clothes and walk along the seafront to raise money and awareness for testicular and ovarian germ cell cancers.
There is a seven-mile route from Clacton Pier to Walton Pier, but walkers can opt to do the full 14-mile round trip if they wish.
Toby Freeman, chief executive and founder of The Robin Cancer Trust, said: "It’s amazing to see the Pants to Cancer Walk return for its fifth year.
"Last year’s event raised over £3,500, and it was incredible to see the local community come together in support of our mission.
"With only a few tickets left, we’re urging people to sign up quickly so they don’t miss out on what promises to be our biggest and best walk yet."
The event is open to all, including wheelchair users, and well-behaved dogs on leads.
Entry costs £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s, and everyone will receive a medal.
The event is being sponsored by Lamb and Co Property, and all funds raised will support The Robin Cancer Trust’s work, which includes awareness campaigns, educational talks, and support services for families affected by germ cell cancers.
Each £10 donated helped reach thousands of young people online, while £25 sends a care package to someone recently diagnosed and £50 funds an awareness talk in a school, college or university.
The event will begin at 10am and go on until 4pm.
