A Tendring pub is celebrating a near 400-year history with a special event.

The Kings Arms, in Frating, is holding a beer and music festival to celebrate its 390th anniversary later this month.

Over the bank holiday on August 23 and August 24, the venue will have a number of bands playing.

There will also be bouncy castles, face painting, a hog roast, barbecue and a charity raffle.

This year they will be raising money for the Lullaby Trust - a charity aiming to keep babies safe and support grieving families.
