Owners of a pub in Brightlingsea are set to sell up over concerns about its "long-term sustainable future".
The Cherry Tree Pub in Church Road has been placed up for sale with a price tag of £375,000.
It came under new management at the end of October 2024, but the owners have placed the pub on the market.
Just ten miles from Colchester the pub possesses a main bar, lounge bar and a garden.
It also has a designated car park and is described as a "potential community pub".
Aside from the pub, the private accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a lounge and a private bathroom.
A spokesman for Admiral Taverns, who own the pub said: “We are strong believers in the importance of community pubs and our focus is always on helping our licensees and operators run sustainable pub businesses.
"After careful consideration however, we felt in this instance that The Cherry Tree did not have a long-term sustainable future and therefore we have taken the decision to put the pub up for sale."
