A LONGSTANDING festival will return to an Essex park this summer.
The annual Food and Drink Festival will take place in Lower Castle Park on June 28 and June 29 between 11am until 6pm.
During the event, there will be many different stalls showcasing some of the best local and international food and drink.
Attendees will also be able to enjoy live music and there will be rides for youngsters.
Last year's event boasted a record number of 140 stalls.
The event is organised by Colchester resident Don Quinn and his team.
Visitors will be able to park for free in King's Meadow car park which is a five-minute walk away.
A statement on the festival's website said: "Join us in Colchester’s beautiful Castle Park for another year of our Food & Drink Festival.
"There will be lots of old favourites and this year we have some new and exciting stalls and products to tempt you with Kids rides and much much more.
"Relax in the wonderful atmosphere of this much-loved festival. You can enjoy live music and stroll around the stalls trying some of the artisan produced local goodies."
A weekend adult ticket costs £16, children under the age of 16 can enter for free.
