Little Clacton's Morrisons supermarket is to lose its market kitchen counter, as the company announces cuts.
Morrisons is to shut a large number of its cafés, market kitchens, convenience stores, florists and pharmacies.
The market kitchen at the Centenary Way store, in Little Clacton is among those listed for closure.
The business is making a number of changes and adjustments to its stores and operations to accelerate growth, to optimise its operations and to "help mitigate recent significant cost increases".
The plans over the next few months will result in the closure of 52 cafés, all 18 market kitchens, 17 convenience stores, 13 florists, 35 meat counters, 35 fish counters and four pharmacies.
The company says the majority of staff affected by the changes are expected to be redeployed elsewhere, but about 365 staff will be at risk of redundancy.
Morrisons chief executive Rami Baitiéh said: “The changes we are announcing today are a necessary part of our plans to renew and reinvigorate Morrisons and enable us to focus our investment into the areas that customers really value and that can play a full part in our growth."
