A show celebrating the legendary Roy Orbison is coming to Clacton's Princes Theatre this month.
The Roy Orbison Story, performed by Barry Steele will give fans a night of his greatest hits and an experience which brings his heartfelt stories to life.
The performance will also pay tribute to the iconic Travelling Wilburys, the supergroup made up of Orbison, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty.
The night offers music lovers a chance to hear classic hits such as Oh, Pretty Woman, Crying, and Only the Lonely performed with "passion and authenticity".
It will also give people a chance to relive the magic of the Travelling Wilburys with favourites such as Handle with Care and End of the Line.
With a sprinkling of selected songs from Johnny Cash, ELO, and Tom Petty, The Roy Orbison Story showcases the vast influence of 'The Big O' and his friends on rock and pop music.
Barry Steele, a celebrated performer, captures the essence of these musical icons with his dynamic stage presence and vocal talent.
He has been touring nationally and internationally for 21 years to rave reviews, including performances in New Zealand, America, Sweden, Denmark, Holland and Belgium.
He has also performed in front of Roy Orbison's son, Wesley.
A spokesman said: "Not only is this production perfect for fans of all ages, this show also promises to take you on a nostalgic journey through some of the greatest songs in music history.
"Feel the energy of live performance as the show brings these classic songs to life in a way that only a live show can."
The show is at Clacton's Princes Theatre on Friday, February 21, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the event are £27 and the show is suitable for all ages.
