The Northern Echo recently published a story covering a memorial bench that had been donated in memory of Ted Sanderson.
The article stated that the bench had been made free of charge, but we can clarify that the bench was paid for and donated by businessman, Ian Snowball.
We can also clarify that it was the inscriptions that were carried out for free and we are sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
