A woman was assaulted after stopping her car when a man walked out into the road. 

The woman had been driving down Little Clacton Road when the incident happened on Thursday (November 11) between 7.30pm and 8pm. 

A man walked out in front of her car. 

When she stopped the vehicle a second man opened the passenger door and assaulted her, causing bruising to her face.

Both suspects were wearing face masks.

Essex Police is appealing for witnesses.

Anyone with information should call 101 and cite incident 879 of November 11.
