POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a collision on the A127 earlier this week.

Officers were called to reports of a collision at around 1pm on Wednesday, June 23.

Reports suggested the collision was between a motorbike and a van on the London-bound slip at Dunton.

In the crash, the rider of the motorbike, a man in his 30s, sustained serious injuries.

Now officers are asking for anyone who saw the crash to come forward to help with their investigation.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dash cam footage available for us to view, is urged to contact us.
