SOUTHEND United have more than doubled their spending on agents.
Between February 2019 and January 2020 the Shrimpers spent £126, 273.
And that represents a big increase on the year before which saw Blues pay £44, 658.
Southend’s figure was the 11th highest in League One but unsurprisingly Sunderland finished top of the table having spent £1.3 million.
Bolton were the only club in the division not to pay agents any money at all.
