FIELDINGS Auctioneers in Stourbridge is to hold its next sale online due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The leading auction house in Mill Race Lane will be holding a two-day online sale tomorrow (Wednesday May 20) and Thursday May 21 which will see 860 lots up for auction.
Ceramics, Asian art, glass and silver will be going under the hammer on the first day; while jewellery, pictures, collectables, toys, furniture plus wines and spirits will be auctioned off on day two.
It will be the auction house's first sale since the coronavirus outbreak forced the temporary closure of the saleroom to the public on March 23.
Auctioneer and director Nick Davies, who founded the business nearly 20 years ago with Will Farmer, said: “It’s the first time I’ll ever have been an auctioneer with nobody in the room but we’re trying to adapt, you’ve got to.
"Through digital expertise, we can to offer the full auction experience via the auction platforms the-saleroom and Easy Live Auction."
The sale will get underway at 10am on both days.
