SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell has confirmed defender Harry Lennon will miss the rest of the season with a broken leg.
Lennon suffered the injury during Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Bolton Wanderers.
And Campbell - who said at the weekend he feared Lennon had broken his leg - will now be without the 25-year-old for quite some time.
"It’s sad for him because he broke his other leg last season so it’s bad luck and his season has gone now," said Campbell.
"He was playing really well, he was back in the team and scored a goal then something else happens.
"We’ve had to shuffle the pack but we need to look at the left hand side because we’re struggling."
