A POPULAR high street clothes shop is closing down.
The Miss Selfridge store in Churchill Square shopping centre, Brighton, announced it will be shutting soon.
As a result it is having a clearance sale in which the prices of its products are being dramatically reduced.
Several red and white signs outside the shop say it is a "closing down sale" and everything must go".
Miss Selfridge was founded in 1966 and currently has more than 250 stores worldwide.
The Brighton store joins Burton and Dorothy Perkins, also in Churchill Square, in announcing it will close.
All three are owned by the Arcadia Group, a retail empire owned by Sir Philip Green.
In June the group announced plans to close a large number of its stores, earmarking high street clothing chains including Dorothy Perkins, Burton, Topshop, Topman, Outfit and Miss Selfridge - putting thousands of jobs at risk.
