Broomfield in Hadleigh
A TAXI crashed into a teenager with the driver fleeing the scene.
Essex Police are appealing for information after the hit and run in Hadleigh on Sunday at 3.30pm.
A spokesman said: "We received information that the 16-year-old and a dark coloured vehicle coloured collided in Broomfield.
"We received reports that the vehicle failed to stop.
"The boy was taken to hospital for precautionary checks."
