MANY congratulations to the students who have attained extraordinary results in their A-levels and GCSEs.
Grades of A*s and As, 8s and 9s demonstrate they are, academically, the best of the best.
But this is a snapshot of the highest achievers and in no way takes anything away from other students who had worked hard to achieve their grades.
But they are not the be-all and end-all.
Human qualities such as determination, resilience, kindness, courage, humour, all of these play an important role in determining someone’s future. Learning how to fail is a vital part of life as it is not how you fall which matters, but how you get up again.
