POLICE in Colchester solved 245 crimes last month.
Snapshot statistics released by Chief Insp Rob Huddleston, the borough's district commander, revealed they also investigated 84 reports of missing people and 406 domestic abuse incidents.
Officers attended 75 call outs related to mental health and looked into 453 instances of anti-social behaviour.
In total, 788 pieces of intelligence were submitted, 171 people were stopped and searched while there were 80 crashes on Colchester's roads.
