A BRAINTREE school has completely refurbished its ageing library with a more modern and imaginative design.
Great Bradfords Junior School unveiled the colourful revamp earlier this month during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by author Matt Oldfield and Essex County Council director of education Carol Kershaw.
The fresh and vibrant makeover now sees colourful fictional characters adorn the walls, and wooden planks depicting book spines of popular children’s books such as Winnie the Pooh and Charlotte’s Web now surround the entrance.
