A SPEED watch group held three sessions in a bid to slow traffic down during the Tendring Motor Rally.
Harwich and District Speed Watch Partnership's team held three monitoring sessions in Steam Mill Road, Bradfield, last Sunday during the event.
Their work resulted in only five speeding motorists being clocked and reported to Essex Police.
The group has thanked two homeowners who let them park on their driveways during the sessions.
Dave Blackiston, from the group, said: "We have five locations in Bradfield from where we can monitor the speed of vehicles.
"Regrettably, we only have one active volunteer from the village and so the times we can visit the village are very limited."
