Reading the media and listening to the news, I realise that we are now living in a lawless society.

Things like being blown up, young lives being cut short by stabbings, police not being able to stop and search, children being abused and persistent offenders picking on the old and vulnerable, beating them to a pulp for pennies.

So let’s change our laws.

Bring back the death penalty for taking a life, sexual offences against children, and put persistent offenders in the stocks.

All foreign offenders should be sent back to their own country to complete their sentences. The prisons would not be so full, so prison officers would get back control to run the prison service as it should be.

People could once again walk the streets knowing they are safe.
