BBC Radio 1 visited a Braintree business for an interview and to present it with a special plaque.
Happy Fabric welcomed presenter and DJ Arielle Free to its base in Anglia Way for a live interview during Clara Amfo’s show.
Employees Marnie Goodman and Hayley Chapman showed Free the ropes of what they do on a day-to-day basis.
Marnie said: “It was so nice to have Arielle and Radio 1 in.
“We loved how enthusiastic they were about learning to personalise bags with our heat transfer vinyl.
"It was a whirlwind of fun.”
The visit was part of a week-long piece run by the popular station which saw Free visit various workplaces across the country.
Happy Fabric lets customers add their own designs to various types of textiles.
