A teenager was arrested on suspicion of theft in Hatfield Peverel yesterday. (Tuesday, March 19)
Residents reported seeing a large number of police cars and bikes in Maldon Road at around 4.30pm.
Essex Police has confirmed a 19-year-old, from Romford, was arrested and taken to custody for questioning.
He was later released without charge.
