Man to appear in court today charged with robbery of Tesco Express store
A MAN will appear in court following an alleged robbery at a Tesco store in Clacton.
Donald Sampson, 46, of Rosemary Road, Clacton, will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court this morning to face a charge of robbery and a further charge of possession of a knife.
The charges relate to an incident alleged to have happened at the Tesco Express store, in St Osyth Road, Clacton on Saturday, January 5.
Sampson has been remanded in custody ahead of his appearance on Monday morning.
