A CHARITY in Vange is appealing for funds to buy a minibus to help reach more of its members and to provide more activities.
Sociability provides support to a range of people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, through a range of socially inclusive activities, as well as a place for members to support each other.
Jonathan Barrowman, Chairman of Sociability, said: “The venue is situated in one of the most deprived areas in England, Vange.
“Therefore, financial deprivation has a detrimental effect on people’s ability to reach our services.
“A minibus would transform several of our members’ lives, who often go from one week to the next without seeing anyone while often enduring ill health.
“A mini-bus will provide us with the ability to reach and include anyone who calls us for support.”
