A FAMOUS face has been added to the cast of this year’s pantomime in Grays.

Thameside Theatre has announced reality TV star Ben Jardine – who rose to fame on the television show Married at First Sight and appeared in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother – will play Wishee Washee in the theatre’s upcoming panto, Aladdin.

The first performance is on November 30, with 61 shows until January 6.

Other stars appearing in this year's Polka Dot Pantomimes show include former TOWIE regular and Celebrity Big Brother contestant, Dan Osborne as the Genie and Thurrock’' favourite Dame, Luke Coldham as Widow Twanky.

Councillor Deborah Huelin, portfolio holder for communities, said: "Every year Thameside Theatre hosts an amazing pantomime and this year is no exception.

"This year's cast includes TV stars and some fantastic performers with years of experience working in musical theatre.

"It promises to be a wonderful show and I would encourage everyone to get their tickets sooner rather than later, with some performances already sold out."

Tickets are available from just £16.
