A WOMAN was pushed into the road at a pedestrian crossing.
Essex Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Carnarvon Road, Clacton.
It was reported a woman, aged in her thirties, was at a pedestrian crossing when a teenager is believed to have pushed her from behind.
She fell into the road and suffered injuries to her elbow and leg.
The person responsible is believed to have been part of a group of around eight teenagers.
Witnesses are asked to contact Clacton Police Station on 101, quoting reference 42/157708/18.
