A BEACH party with the sounds of summer and some good vibrations comes to Clacton on Saturday.

The UK Beach Boys will be at the Princes Theatre with their Keeping the Summer Alive show which is touring the country.

The four talented musicians and their authentic vocal harmonies are regarded as the top tribute act and are the only tribute band to have ever shared a stage with the real Beach Boys in the summer of 2003.

The UK band are Peter Phipps, Steve Stiles, Simon West and Ian Baker - his brother is Adrian Baker, a member of the real Beach Boys for over 10 years and who recorded albums with the legendary Mike Love.

It was Adrian who nurtured the tribute band through rehearsals to make sure their sounds were authentic.

The UK tribute band will be reliving the surfing days of the Beach Boys with such hits as Good Vibrations, Barbara Ann and Surfin USA.

Their show in Clacton starts at 8pm and all seats cost £15.

They can be booked at the tourist information office at the town hall or on 01255 686633.
