It never fails to amuse me (somewhat ironically!) at the inventiveness of those faceless beings who seem to make decisions, supposedly on our behalf.
We are now told that a "consultation period" is being given with regards to yet another giant money-wasting effort - Bishops Park School.
Is this just technical jargon for "until we can find a suitable excuse that will satisfy everyone"?
It was hailed as the answer to almost all of our educational needs at the time, a kind of academic necessity.
Now it is in prospect of closure, apparently not needed!
All this while the Leas - one of the very best schools of its type in the area - was closed, apparently to save money.
Until some common sense is put back into the equation, two and two will indeed equal five!
