A MOTHER has spoken of her anger after her children were allegedly shot at in a public park - and a solitary policeman turned up on a bike 50 minutes after she dialled 999.

Another resident claims he received a similar lacklustre response when he reported children playing with explosive railway detonators.

Clacton police have vowed to investigate both complaints.
