FRINTON and District Horticultural Society's summer show has been hailed a huge success after a bumper crop of entries.
The society's second show of the year saw entries in all 58 categories, including plants, flowers and home crafts at the McGrigor Hall.
Chairman John Dearing's roses won best in show, while Bill Edwards came away with the trophy for most points.
Spokesman David Foster said: "It was very successful. The judge said the exhibits were outstanding, especially in the sweet pea and rose categories, and the chairman was very pleasantly surprised at how well attended it was."
