A FORMER pub is set to be transformed into three homes and a micropub following a successful appeal.
The Fat Goose pub in Tendring village has been out of action since 2016 and the Fat Goose Property Developments applied to Tendring Council to build two four-bedroom detached properties and a micropub with first floor flat on the site.
Initially Tendring Council refused the proposals for development on Heath Road due to concerns over the rural location, but a planning inspector has overturned the decision.
