A HISTORIC railway museum has been renamed in memory of one of its original founders.
Frinton and Walton Heritage Trust’s railway museum has been renamed the Trevor Bright Railway Museum after the late Trevor Bright. He co-founded the museum with current trust chairman and railway archivist Tony Barrett.
A small crowd of Mr Bright’s relatives and friends gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony carried out by his widow Jackie.
Visitors then had a chance to explore the railway and heritage museums. The gardens and museums open every Tuesday from 10am to midday until October.
