BURGLARY victims have been reunited with mountain bikes which thugs stole.

Police have given owners their possessions back after making three arrests in Clacton.

Officers were called to Church Road about suspicious activity at about 3am on Monday, March 26.

A 17-year-old boy from Burwell, Cambridge, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of three counts of theft, burglary, going equipped to steal and threatening behaviour.

A man, 20, and a boy, 17, of no fixed address, were arrested also arrested on suspicion of burglary and going equipped to steal.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "All three were released on bail until Wednesday, April 11.

"Following the arrests, we received reports that six garages were broken into and a theft of a mobile from a vehicle.

"We have reunited three people with their mountain bikes and are in the process of reuniting a stolen motorbike and mobility scooter with their owners."
