CHRISTMAS has arrived early at St Helena Hospice with the donation of six Christmas trees.
Donated by Fred Smith’s Christmas Trees, of Boxted, and data company Informa, of Colchester, they will be on display at Myland Hall, in Highwoods and the Tendring Centre, in Clacton.
The Fred Smith’s trees will be decorated with tags from people who have given money to the hospice’s Tree of Memories appeal.
Tim Smith, owner of Fred Smith’s Christmas trees, said: “I’m extremely pleased to be supporting the hospice.”
The trees donated by Informa will be decorated by staff and put on display for patients and visitors to enjoy.
Jennifer Austin, of Informa, said: “Our partnership with St Helena isn’t just about donating money. It’s about our colleagues supporting a charity in so many different ways.”
