CLACTON Concert Orchestra rounds off its season with a show at St James' Church this Sunday.
‘A Summer Breeze’ includes Beethoven’s famous 5th Symphony, while the orchestra teams up with The Four Saxes to perform Philip Glass’s Concerto for Saxophone Quartet.
Organ soloist and St James' choir master Paul Siddall opens the concert with a brief recital of movements 3 & 4 of Handel’s Organ Concerto no 1, which is followed by the orchestra performing Alexandre Guilmant’s Lift up your Heads March on a theme of Handel.
The concert starts at 3pm at St James', in Tower Road.
Tickets are £8 on 01255 223455 or on the door on the day. A contribution from proceeds will go to the church fundraising appeal.
