FIREFIGHTERS had to cut two people trapped in their cars following a crash.
Two cars crashed in Kirby Road, Walton on the Naze, at about 1.15pm this afternoon.
Two fire crews from Frinton were called and they worked with paramedics to release two people trapped in the vehicles.
The casualties were left in the care of the Ambulance Service by 2:10pm.
A response car from the ambulance service and two ambulance crews attended to two patients.
A woman, believed to be in her 50s, had back pain and a woman, believed to be in her 80s, had a leg injury.
One patient, believed to be the woman in her 50s, was taken to Colchester General Hospital for further care.
