A STUDENT found with £12,000 worth of cocaine has been jailed for seven years.
Salah Maalow, 26, of no fixed address, admitted being in possession of cocaine with intent to supply when he appeared at Ipswich Crown Court.
Maalow was stopped by police in the early hours of November 22, last year in Warwick Road, Clacton.
His suspicious behaviour led officers to search Maalow under the Misuse of Drugs Act when they found £226.25 in cash on him and two mobile phones.
However, on the wet pavement nearby they spotted an amount of white powder inside of a clean cling film wrap.
The wrap contained 122g of cocaine and Maalow was later sentenced to seven years in prison.
