BALLET comes to the big screen tonight when one of the final works of acclaimed choreographer Frederick Ashton opens the 2016 live screening season at Clacton's Century Cinema.
The work was a virtuoso conclusion to Ashton’s series of non-narrative ballets and is set to Sergey Rachmaninoff’s well-known Rhapsody On The Theme Of Paganini.
The Royal Ballet’s performance of Rhapsody will be shown live from Covent Garden on January 26 at 7.15pm.
Rhapsody is combined with Two Pigeons, also by Ashton.
Tickets are £15 on 01255 429850 or from centurycinema.co.uk.
