A LANDOWNER has been given the green light to keep two holiday caravans on a plot in Great Bentley.
The static caravans are set up on a site behind Hill Cottages in Flag Hill. Their owner launched an application to Tendring Council to make sure he was allowed to keep the holiday homes in place.
He had to prove they had been used by holidaymakers for more than a decade and evidence was submitted to Tendring Council, which has now given the all-clear for the caravans to stay.
The new certificate allows them to be used for holidays between March 1 and October 31, but people are not allowed to live in them full-time.
