A HOLIDAY park in Clacton wants to increase the number of caravans on its site.
Sacketts Grove already has the green light for an extra 40 static and 40 touring caravans.
It now wants to replace that with 135 static holiday caravans on the west half of the park, off Jaywick Lane.
The proposal will increase the total number of pitches to 256 and bring and extra £1.4million into the local economy, if it gets the go-ahead.
Plans for a new outdoor swimming pool, which had already been approved, have been ditched and replaced by an adventure golf course.
Sacketts Grove said the new static caravans would be for holiday use only. The site currently opens from March to January.
